.Aftercare.

What to expect during and after your Micro-blading session:

The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks, depending upon your own body regeneration and age.

Your new temporary eyebrows will go through several phases during this healing process/cycle. The below after care instructions will help with healing.

The pigment will appear very natural looking immediately after the initial procedure.

The following day the pigment will appear darker.

Next, typically the brows can itch and flake as the healing process naturally produces shedding, at which point the brows might appear lighter than original. This might give you the impression that the color is fading too quickly.

Additionally, even with proper care some customers may develop bald spots or might lose original hair stroke which makes brows look uneven, this is natural.

This is also the reason why most customers need a touch-up visit after the 6 weeks.

It is very important that you do not let any water, lotions, soap or makeup touch your eyebrow areas during the first 3 days after your micro-blading session!

Micro-blading After Care Process:

Please avoid touching the eyebrow area. Avoid water around brow area when washing face. At all times, wash your hands thoroughly before applying ointment/cleansing.

On Days 1-2 –  (day of your procedure)

  1.  Only use the blotting papers provided.

Apply blotting paper to each brow. You will continue to use the blotting papers for

2 weeks minimum and use them religiously, every 4 hours. (3 for oily skin)

On Day 3 – (3rd day of procedure)

  1. Clean once daily with Cetaphil cleanser.

  2. Begin using the Cavilon ointment provided once daily at night and continue the ointment for 7 days.  Please use ointment sparingly as the brows need to heal.

On Day 10 - (10th day after procedure)

  1. Start using unscented lotion or coconut/grapeseed oil.

The following must be avoided during the 14-day post micro-blading procedure:

Healing Schedule for Permanent Makeup Application

EYEBROWS:    Typical Effects -

Day 7                         The eyebrows are approximately 30-40% darker and bolder in width than                                                 they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment, which causes the                                       color of the pigment to appear darker and warmer in tone. There is some                                               swelling, although difficult to actually see due to the thickness of the skin in the                                     brow area. Brows will be tender and may feel similar to sunburn, though this will                                    subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days will cause the excess pigment                                         surrounding the eyebrow area procedure to flake away in a more narrow                                                appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrow initially                                        appears darker and heavier in shape than you desire, this is all part of the                                                 process.

Day 8                          Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Exfoliation                                                   begins.

Day 9                          The skin begins to flake/peel from the outside edges first. Brows may appear                                         pink.

Day 10                        Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and gray for a few days until color                                      clarifies.
